In a 10 minute video uploaded by AlDub supporters on their instagram account, Maine Mendoza unexpectedly open her car window, smiled and happily greet the sad passenger. The video was taken from inside Maine Mendoza’s car.
“Kuya, bakit ang lungkot mo? Ngiti ka naman diyan!” Maine Mendoza said to the young man as she tries to cheer him up.
When the man looks back and recognizes its Maine Mendoza, a big smile registered to his face from ear to ear and wave back to her. His reaction is priceless.
This act of Maine Mendoza gained praises and positive reactions from Netizens. They admire the phenomenal actress more for staying humble and for concerning ordinary people’s feelings.
However, some people think the video is just part of a marketing strategy as they noticed that the “sad commuter” is wearing a “McDonald’s” uniform, the fastfood chain that she endorses. They also ask why someone is recording the act if its not scripted.
