Good News for the 90’s fans of Diether Ocampo! After being absent in show business for more than two years, Diether is back and we will see him again on television, but this time at Kapatid Network TV5.
Diether Ocampo will star two episodes of TV 5’s Wattpad Presents. “Wattpad Presents” is a weekly series of Wattpad stories turned into TV dramas.
We will first see Diet at Wattpad Presents “Wicked Ways” with Ritz Azul and John James Uy this November 23, 2015 to November 27, 2015, Then on Wattpad Presents “Mr. Wrong” starring Sam Pinto that will air on December 14, 2015 to December 18, 2015.
However, Diether Ocampo denied the rumor that he is now an exclusive artist of TV5. He said that his appearance for Tv5’s Wattpad Presents is just a network guesting and he’s still manage by ABS-CBN’s Star Magic.
This is the first time Diether Ocampo will be working with TV5. The actor is thankful for the opportunity and excited for the new experience to work with Kapatid Stars.
“I’m still with ABS. In fact, I just took this opportunity which I’m very thankful ’coz hindi pa ako nakapag-guest sa Channel 5. So, this is the first time na makatrabaho ako with the production of TV5 and this is the initial project that we accepted, of course, there will be two episodes,” Diether Ocampo said in an interview.
“I was very happy when this offer came and thank you to Ma’am Wilma (Galvante) for giving me this opportunity to work with some actor na hindi ko pa nakakatrabaho and working with same production team na magagaling, of course with our director Phillip Lazaro. It’s a good opportunity for me so hindi ko pwedeng palampasin ‘yun,” Diether Ocampo happily said.
Diether Ocampo was about to star in ABS-CBN’s new drama “Someone To Watch Over Me” with Judy Ann Santos and Richard Yap, but because Judy Ann Santos unexpectedly got pregnant, they have to put the project on hold.
His last project at Kapamilya Network is a drama series with Angelica Panganiban and Piolo Pascual “Apoy sa Dagat” in 2013.
