On a normal day, Danica Sotto posted something on her Instagram. She posted a picture with text on it that read, “Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. – Romans 12:9”
Danica Sotto captioned the photo with this, “…Dear God, please soften our hearts today. Help to love others genuinely even without counting the cost. It is our duty to please you and share your love to others. In Jesus name we pray, Amen”
The message was plain and simple. Just like everyone else, she shared a verse in the Bible. But there was a commenter who intriguingly asked Danica if her Instagram post was meant for Pauleen Luna. The commenter was taking the Bible verse out of context, “Don’t just pretent to love others.” And maybe he thought that Danica was referring to Pauleen, being Vic Sotto’s fiancee, just pretending to be at ease with the Sotto family.
Some people replied to that commenter outright that it wasn’t about anything but a prayer. Danica Sotto seems very much in touch with the people who leave comments on her Instagram. She responded that she regularly publishes prayers on her account. She shares those reflections in the belief that others might find them useful. Like those who are struggling, undergoing trials and the like.
Danica added that she’d rather post prayers that people will find meaningful than bash others on social media. Aside from the fact that it isn’t healthy, it’s going to ruin your reputation, too. Anyway, we all know how frank Danica is. At the end of her response, she stated that she’d confront someone if she wants to straighten out issues with them.
