“On the Wings of Love” is ABS-CBN’s primetime teleserye that gained consistent high TV ratings since it started last August 2015. The teleserye is starred by the famous love team James Reid and Nadine Lustre and the program is directed by Antoinette Jadaone and Jojo Saguin.
“Natutuwa ako for her (Director Tonet), proud ako para sa kanya,” said by Director Joyce Bernal when interviewed by Reggee Bonoan regarding the success of “OTWOL”. Actually, Director Antoinette Jadaone was Director Joyce’s former personal assistant.
“My Faithful Husband” starring Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo, directed by Joyce Bernal in GMA Network, aired the same time with “On the Wings of Love.”
In the interview, Director Joyce was asked if when would be the final date of her teleserye in GMA. She answered, “Bago mag-December yata o December, not sure, eh.”
Moreover, one reporter asked if their show will end due of low rankings they got because of OTWOL. Director Joyce answered the question and said, “Oo, talo kami sa OTWOL kaya magbababu na kami, ha-ha-ha-ha.”
She was then asked by a follow up question on why the “My Faithful Husband” is going to an end. She said, “Oo nga, kasi hanggang doon na lang naman din. Hindi na puwedeng i-stretch.”
Meanwhile, “On the Wings of Love” still continues to soar high when it comes to TV rankings and social media trends, especially that ABS-CBN recently announced that the teleserye will end up this coming February 2016. In fact, it was announced that there are more ‘kilig’ scenes these coming months in the said teleserye.
