When number 19 candidate Hillarie Danielle Parungao entered the center stage to parade her gown, the crowd went gaga over her. The ladies are being serenaded by 4 of Kapuso young actors Derrick Monasterio, Jeric Gonzales, Martin del Rosario and Kiko Estrada singing a popular hit song “Photograph”.
After the long gown parade of beauties 18 special awards are given to deserving candidates. Miss World Philippines special awards are:

Ms. Bench is candidate 14 is Cassandra Naidas
Ms. Jazzy France pick is number 1 Vanessa Wright
Ms. Fila goes to number 21 Mia Allyson Howell
Most Unique Talent- (2) Jannine Loudette Alipo-on, and (12) Emma Mary Tiglao
Best in Talent is awarded to 3 candidates- (21) Mia Allyson Howell, (22) Vianca Louise Marcelo and Avonlea Paraiso
Miss Friendship is candidate number 5 Christelle Abello
Miss Photogenic is candidate number 12 Emma Mary Tiglao
Miss World Ilocos is number 21 Mia Allyson Howell
Candidate number 19 Hillarie Danielle Parungao bags 9 special awards namely- Best in Sports Challenge, Best in Fashion Runaway, Best in Swimsuit and Best in Long Gown. Miss Parungao also got sponsor awards such as Miss Technomarine, Miss Solaire, Miss Zen Institute, Miss Phoenix and Miss Figlia.
The candidates also spent time practicing walks with tutorial from Gwendoline Ruais while Megan Young gave pointers in an intimate meeting with the girls.
Miss World Philippines candidates have an opportunity to spend some time with sick kids at the PGH pediatric ward 11. Some candidates were very moved with this experience with teary eyes and expressions of sadness. This charitable work signifies one key value of Miss World which is “beauty is giving”.
