JM is considered to be one of the versatile actors in the entertainment industry. He was known with his first major teleserye, “Angelito: Ang Batang Ama,” and followed by a second series “Angelito: Ang Batang Yugto.” JM recently has his ongoing projects with ABS-CBN. JM is starred as the Edong or the teenage Dr. Manuel Figueras in their afternoon series “All of Me”. The series indeed has a strong viewership.
In spite of JM’s success in the industry, however, it is no guarantee that he will be exempted from internet death hoax. Just yesterday, October 21, 2015, the social media was at raged when actor JM de Guzman posted a screen capture of a death hoax on his Instagram account. The report said that JM was allegedly found dead in Taytay, Rizal. He added caption on the photo, “What to believe?”

“At about 11 a.m. ET on Tuesday (October 20, 2015), our beloved actor JM de Guzman passed away. JM de Guzman was born on September 9, 1988 in Quezon City. He will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page.”
As expected, the death rumor went viral and many netizens believes that it’s true. Netizens immediately began writing their condolences on the Facebook page. And at the same time the Twittersphere was raged over JM’s death hoax. Some JM’s followers quickly commented that the person who did the hoax must be “walang magawa sa buhay.”
As a matter of fact, a recent poll was conducted for Celebrity Post shows that a huge majority (75%) of respondents contemplate those JM de Guzman death hoax are not amusing anymore.
On the other hand, JM posted a selfie later on proving that he is alive and not dead.
