Singer/host Janno Gibbs took Instagram to express his opinion about the phenomenal loveteam AlDub and the variety program “It’s Showtime” on Wednesday, October 21, 2015.
He posted a collage photo of the TV logos of “Eat Bulaga” and “It’s Showtime!” and threw in his two cent’s worth by admitting he’s a “TV addict” and actually “watching these shows daily.”
The 46-year old actor said, “Like everyone, else I’m a big fan of Kalyeserye! Aldub and Lola Nidora (are) the best!”
Admitted switching to Kapamilya noontime show during “Eat Bulaga’s” commercial break, for a time he felt sad that “It’s Showtime! “cast “seemed that they didn’t know what to do.
“But lately… little by little the show is causing a stir again,” he continued.
Gibbs considered, without question, AlDub is such a “phenomenon” and hard to beat.
At the end of his comment, he said to “It’s Showtime” to “keep doing their own thing.”
Conceded that his weekly show “HapiTruck ng Bayan” obviously comes third against “ASAP” and “Pinasaya”, the host made light of thing that “we are just enjoying the show and doing our own thing. No pressure..no hate.”
Meanwhile, Gibbs’ account name on Instagram as @jannolategibbs demonstrated a witty expression of describing him oftentimes late in TV guestings and programs.
In a repost video of Michael Pangilinan impersonating Gibbs, user @marsheybheam joked, “[Pangilinan] was exactly like you. So bro, when you’re late [for a show], there are subs [to replace you] (laughs).”
Gibbs poked her, “If I were not late, It wouldn’t be me. (laughs)”
