October is the birth month for the most influential woman in media, ABS-CBN President , and CEO, Ms. Charo Santos-Concio. Ms. Charo will be celebrating her birthday this coming October 27.
From the common lass of Mindoro, she turned out to be the country’s most influential woman in Philippine media. As tribute to her legacy, Metro Magazine marked her 60th birthday together with her chosen women of substance and styles. Ms. Charo chose Anne Curtis, Bea Alonzo, Charlene Gonzalez, Dawn Zulueta and Judy Ann Santos to uphold her legacy and be part of the cover. #MetroLovesCharo would be the inspirational November cover since it will give you an exceedingly inspirational success story of Ms. Charo Santos-Concio.
However, in spite of her success with ABS-CBN and her upcoming birthday, Ms. Charo chose not to publicize her 60th birthday photos last Tuesday night, for both on social media and television.
This is for the reason that she is reluctant to show off her birthday celebration because of the people died and affected by Typhoon Lando.
Just last Sunday, Typhoon Lando landed on the Philippines leaving at least 35 people dead and nearly a million of families, agriculture, infrastructure, and businesses affected. In such dread case, the loss to infrastructure and agriculture due to the typhoon has already increased to 6.57 billion pesos.
The typhoon indeed had left a track of destruction all over the regions of Region I, II, III, CAR, NCR, and IV-A, where agriculture was the chief source of income.
