On the interview last Thursday September 3, 2015 with Vice Ganda conducted by PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) the comedian-host bestowed his comment pertaining to the remarkable AlDub Tandem of GMA 7. Hence, Vice considered the competition between It’s Showtime and Eat Bulaga as a “healthy competition.”
Since the AlDub Tandem has started on Kalye-serye on GMA’s noon time show it consistently strikes It’s Showtime TV rating. Additionally, Vice Ganda admitted that right before the AlDub gave humors and kilig moments to the public, there are competitions happening already between the two main stations in the Philippines including morning shows, afternoon series and primetime series.
For the comedian-host, it is very hypocrite to deny that there are no competition between ABS-CBN and GMA Network because we all know the fact that there are competing to be on top of TV ratings over the years.
Aside from the different type of contests in It’s Showtime, there is a special segment whereas Vice Ganda plays the role of Madam Bertud giving pieces of advice to madlang people on aspects of life such as: love, life, career and personal.
When asked if the cast of the noon time show ‘It’s Showtime’ is meticulously preparing for their new segment that will involve dubsmash, Vice immediately confirm with a statement “Of course not, that’s not true”. He believes by presenting and managing TV programs uniquely will make you gather more viewers and in fact it will summon up the loyalty of your audiences.
