Kris Aquino, aside from being the most popular TV show host on Philippine TV, has also been very vocal for her love for music and local talent artists. With her morning lifestyle show, Kris TV, she personally pick guests that are singers every now and then. She is also very vocal and visible on helping talents that she believes are great and worth supporting. Nott known to everyone, Kris also co-producing concerts in the country, together with Boy Abunda, some of them are Bruno Mars and Jessie J.
When Kris likes a song and a singer, she really mean it, as she doesn’t mind if they are coming from a rival network or a homegrown talent as long as they do good music.
In her Instagram post last Friday (September 4, 2015), she revealed a photo she took, showing Julie Anne San Jose, a GMA 7 music artist, playing of the song ‘Let Me Be The One’ on her music player. On the said post, she even captioned with the hashtag #FanGirlMode.
Julie Anne, has been joining several competitions since she was 3 years old including Eat Bulaga!’s “Little Miss Philippines” and ABS-CBN’s “Munting Miss U” winning 3rd runner-up. But then stopped pursuing a career in showbiz until she came back joining singing competitions years later on 2005. She now has 4 albums with the most recent entitled “Deeper” released last 2014, under GMA Records. And just recently, she has just released a smash hit single entitled ‘Tidal Wave’, reaching almost 1 million views on Youtube.
With Kris Aquino Instagram post, Julia Anne’s San Jose fans got the attention and even clamoring for the host to feature Julie Anne San Jose on Kris’ morning tv show, Kris TV. With the hosts big heart for music, who knows? She had already featured several artists and Julie Anne, as being particularly hand-picked by the host on her post is no different.
