Iza Calzado is one of the prominent actors in the showbiz today. She is a combination of beauty, grace, etiquette, and professionalism. Whatever project you gave her, surely she will give her best. Iza once told that she wants her character to have depth and strength. It was proven on her previous projects like Milan (2004), Mulawin The Movie (2005), SRRVIII (2006), Desperadas (2007), Ang Panday (2009), and Starting Over Again (2014).
And now, Iza will be starring on the newest Star Cinema offering titled “Etiquette For Mistresses” together with Claudine Barretto, Cheena Crab, Kim Chiu, and Kris Aquino. She will be playing as Atty. Stella Garcia, a strong, smart, independent and successful woman. In this movie, Stella is the most logical and sensible among the other four characters. But if given an option to trade character, who would she choose?
“I want to be as Chloe played by Claudine Barretto. Because she is the most fun. She’s making the life easier with her wit and happy thoughts,” Iza said. But she is happy with her role now because she has to experience something new in her life. She wants to try another genre. With almost fifteen (15) years in the showbiz industry, Iza thinks she still on the path realizing what project she wants.
Aside from the character swap, Iza talks about how her perception about mistresses changed after they did the movie. She is certain that after the movie, men will both be entertained and it would be an eye opener to them. Girls, on the other hand, will think about the choices that that they to make in life. What it is that women deserve.
