Several reports floating around the internet about the alleged plane fight incident involving several “Kapamilya” stars, several stories and discussions from netizens have started to circulate with mixed reactions.
The involved names that has been mentioned on the said incident from several news sources were Enrique Gil, Luis Manzano, Liza Soberano and Jessy Mendiola. Although indirectly involved on the talked about heated confrontation, 2 other celebrities were also mentioned namely Jake Cuenca and Paulo Avelino.
In an article posted, Enrique got drunk after he booze together with his fellow actors, Jake and Paulo, during their flight on the way to London for an ASAP 20 show. Enrique got tipsy and started hitting on a fellow young actress, Jessy Mendiola that is also boarding the same flight.
Eventually, actor-host Luis Manzano stood up and stopped the commotion. He tried to make Gil calm down but it turned out that the two actors had a hard discussion. Later on, the two actors got pacified. Though there was a heated conversation between them, no fistfight happened.
Gil’s love team partner, Liza Soberano, together with Luis, has started to help on stopping him, but the drunk actor is uncontrollable, he started babbling towards Soberano, and even made curse her.
To end all speculations, Enrique has finally spoken, together with other actors that are allegedly involved in the incident at Mario Dumaual exclusive interview for TV Patrol. Gil officially made his public apology for his unruly behavior.

Paulo Avelino’s statement:
“Sa mga nasulat sakin, everything was fabricated.” (To all that was written about me, everything was fabricated.)
Jake Cuenca’s statement:
“Ang linis ng kunsensya ko, I didn’t do anything wrong.” (My conscience is clear. I didn’t do anything wrong.)
The two also have two-cents for Enrique:
Paulo: “Live life and learn from your mistakes, that’s it, go on. Mabait naman na bata si Enrique.” (Live life and learn from your mistakes, that’s it. Go on. Enrique is a good guy)
Jake: “Akong makakapagsabi, he has a pure heart, such a great guy.” (I can honestly say, he has a pure heart, such a great guy.)
While Luis Manzano manager, Jun Rufino confirmed the incident but the two parties have already reconciled. Together with Soberano.
Gil and Soberano has made the apology in the said interview also:
“I had some drink sa plane, I mean more than I should be having so as a result, things got out of hand.” (I had some drink on the place. I mean more than I should be having so as a result, things got out of hand.)
“At dahil po doon, I want to apologize for my brothers and sisters from Star Magic.” (And because of that, I want to apologize for my brother and sisters from Star Magic.)
“I sincerely apologize to Jessy and if ever I offended anybody, I’m sorry.”
“And yun lang po tao lang nagkakamali, we all make mistakes but you own up to it.” (And I am just human, making mistakes. We all make mistakes but you own up to it.)
“You learn from it and you move forward.”
To conclude, Enrique thanked his fans for their strong and unwavering support even with the said incident. He added this that this won’t ever happen again. Liza has also made a message to Enrique’s supporters thanking them for still supporting him, as she sat beside the actor during the interview.
