September 26, 2015 (Saturday) , the ALDUB loveteam consisting of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza playing as Yaya Dub, has again made a phenomenal record-breaking episode of their “Kalyeserye” segment in the noontime show “Eat Bulaga”.
The date was declared by the show as the National “Pabebe Wave” Day, as an answer for its rival show, “It’s Showtime’s” anniversary celebration, airing on the same day. As the show’s preparation, it has been hyping Alden Richards and his signature “Pabebe” hand gesture, a sign of his endearment for Yaya Dub.
The hashtag #ALDubEBforLOVE on Twitter, surprisingly, just started 12:00:10am during the big day, it is already breaking Twitter records with a soaring number of 10 million tweets right before “Eat Bulaga” (UPDATED). You can say that fans are really very much eager and excited to see the couple on a date.
“Eat Bulaga” opens with a blast, with its power house of hosts engaged its audience to do the “Pabebe Wave” inviting everyone to watch-out for the ALDUB’s romantic meeting and continuation of the unsuccessful date, but this time, to be held on “Lola Nidora’s” mansion, played by comedian Wally Bayola.
And right before the “Kalyeserye” segment started, host Joey de Leon has made a Twitter count report as of the shows opening, 12 in the afternoon, #ALDubEBForLove has already beat it’s past week record, counting with 12.2 million tweets.
And as the “Kalyeserye” segment started, the ALDUB love team has been shown with their preparation before their meeting at the mansion.
Alden has been roaming around the studio, as if he is asking for approval and good luck from the co-hosts that he considers as mentors and guardians.
A video presentation was shown, showing the love story that bloomed between Alden and Yaya Dub, summing up their journey from their first meeting on screen until their 2 month anniversary.
The trio hosts Jose, Wally and Paolo, were introduced with dance numbers, hyping the crowd from outside audiences, on the celebration of the said “Pabebe Wave” day.
And when it’s Yaya Dub’s part to be focused on-screen, Lola Nidora’s chamber maid Rihanna, played by Wally Bayola, was introduced, hilariously making a spoof impression of Gary Valenciano.
