While the September 26, 2015 episode of “Eat Bulaga”, during its segment “Kalyeserye” actor Alden Richards was required to sing a song dedicated to his love team partner Yaya Dub played by Maine Mendoza. He then started singing ‘God Gave Me You’, the 1999 hit song of American singer Bryan White.
But with the unexpected turn-out of events, Alden became emotional, overwhelmed with what is currently happening on the show, which has contributed greatly to his career at present.
People are saying on Twitter during the said happening, even if they know that the show is scripted, the feelings were always real since the first day. Alden said after his heartfelt singing, “Inaalay ko ang kantang ito para sayo, Maine” (“I dedicate this song for you, Maine”).
