The AlDub love team started accidentally. PEP.ph said that when Direk Mike Tuviera learned that Maine Mendoza a.k.a. Yaya Dub had a crush on Pambansang Bae Alden Richards, they arranged for the two to meet.
“Alden was having lunch and was done for the day. The segment being aired that time was ‘Juan For All/ All for One.’ Upon knowing that Maine admired Alden, they called the latter, put him in the front row, and told him to stay and look more handsome,” Mike revealed.
The rest, as they say, is history. Now, fans want the two to star in a remake of the Koreanovela hit “My Love from the Star.”
