Mark Herras and Jennylyn Mercado – Still the biggest products of the first Filipino reality based artista search, Startstruck, Mark and Jen started as young hopefuls and ended as the top survivors of the show.
The phenomenal season of Starstruck paved way for the 2 stars to be known across the country making them the hottest teen stars back in 2003. They publicly announced their relationship which made the fans go crazier over them. Then starred in different hit TV shows and even films but the newtwork had to separate them. Jennylyn became pregnant at the peak of her career leaving Mark alone and the latter’s star started to dim. Mark is still visible in GMA variety shows while Jen’s career was taken into new heights and dimension last year with her movie English Only Please and is currently hailed as the Philippines’ Sexiest Woman and also the network’s busiest and most in demand female artist and endorser.
