JULIELMO
Julie Anne San Jose and Elmo Magalona – Probably one of the most promising GMA loveteams in recent years. The tandem was brought to life by the talented director Rico Gutierrez and thru the now defunct musical variety show Party Pilipinas. It all started when Julie and Elmo sang.
Their chemistry was too strong and fans craved for more every week. They started the Sunday afternoon Twitter trend and broke records. Fans waited for their production numbers and staff even created a mini-soap opera creating a coined name JuliElmo. The loveteam was separated by GMA. Julie is now a diamond record awardee and has been gracing magazine covers and collaborating with Hollywood music producers while Elmo is now happy with his girlfriend Janine Gutierrez and maintained his popularity and visibility thru different tv series and numerous tv commercials.
