Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal – GMA tagged them as the Royale Couple. Coined as AlKris, these 2 starstruck alumna strted as reality tv stars making their way to the finale. Kris was paired with Mart Escudero that time while Aljir was paired with Jewel Mische. But when things were not working out.
GMA experimented and put Aljur and Kris together in an afternoon soap Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin which took the whole GMA afternoon block to the top. They did a couple of primetime series until the network decided to separate them. Kris is now prepared to change her image while Aljur concentrate on his singing career and acting workshops.
