Marian Rivera gives congratulatory message to Megan Young as her successor for the 2nd remake of “Marimar” when the latter guested and entertained the audience and viewers in “Sunday Pinasaya” last Sunday, August 24, 2015.
Rivera handed a bouquet of flowers and gave the Miss World 2013 a warm hug and said, “We all know for the fact that “Marimar” was one of the most well-loved show, that Thalia and I had portrayed, so today I give you my heartfelt greetings.”
Rivera debuted as Thalia in the Filipino remake of the Mexican hit telenovela last 2007.
Morena Beauty thanked the soon to be mom on her post on Instagram that read: “Aaaaaw! Thank you so much Ate Yan @therealmarian for the kind gesture 😍 I am trying to hide my crying face (‘coz I look like a baby when I am crying)! You are truly beautiful woman inside and out. I will always keep in mind our little convo right before we got off the stage hehe! Love you and congrats to you and Kuya Dong with your baby.”

“When Ate Yan came on stage congratulating me, giving me a bouquet of flowers, saying all these really nice things, all the pressure got lost because it was like an angel came down and gave me such a great blessing,” Megan said in an interview with GMANetwork.com.
