ABS-CBN’s newest afternoon drama series “Doble Kara,” that marks the return of the Royal Princess of Drama Julia Montes on televsion, debuted on a high note last Monday (August 24) and scored a national TV rating of 16.9%, compared to its rival program in GMA “Half Sisters” (15.6%), according to data from Kantar Media.
Aside from winning the ratings game, “Doble Kara” also won the hearts of netizens as the hashtag #DobleKaraSimula quickly became a nationwide trending topic on Twitter because of the positive tweets posted by viewers about the show.
Under the production of Dreamscape Entertainment Television, “Doble Kara” also features the powerhouse cast composed of Carmina Villarroel, Ariel Rivera, Mylene Dizon, Gloria Sevilla, John Lapus, Allen Dizon, and Alora Sasam. Also introduced in the series are Julia’s new leading men Edgar Allan Guzman and Anjo Damiles. Actress Alicia Alonzo will also join the teleserye for a special appearance.
