BEAUTIFUL STRANGERS.
This new drama that stars Lovi Poe and Heart Evangelista has all the makings of a friends-turned into rivals, story.
There are some commendable acting chops, particularly that one from Lovi, and some controversial proceedings are shown in the pilot, are delivered to surprise too.
However, it’s hard to fully appreciate this as a whole, when some of the actors are left behind, performance-wise. Props to veteran actors Dina Bonnevie and Christopher de Leon, for pulling off their roles with so much credibility here, but I should ask Heart, to exert some more.
