ABS-CBN emerged as the most watched TV network in all urban areas of the country, while GMA 7 still rules Urban Luzon and Mega Manila in terms of ratings.
A report released by AGB Nielsen in the second quarter of 2015 revealed that ABS-CBN carried the Top 5 TV programs, namely, “The Voice Kids”, “Maalaala Mo Kaya”, “Pangako Sa ‘Yo”, “Nathaniel”, and “TV Patrol.”
Meanwhile, the Kapuso network got a high 37.3% rating in Urban Luzon, beating ABS-CBN (31.5%) and TV5 (8.2%).
GMA also took the lead in Mega Manila with a rating of 39.3%. On the other hand, the Kapamilya network conquered Urban Visayas (40%) and Urban Mindanao (40.6%) with twice the ratings that GMA 7 received, and five times higher than TV5.
Based on the National Urban Television Audience Measurement, which covers all urban areas in the country, ABS-CBN was the winner with a 36.8% rating.
