It was a pleasant surprise for Jennylyn Mercado to have been hailed as FHM’s sexiest in the FHM 100 Sexiest Victory Party held at the SMX Convention Center. Fan flocked all the way to the venue to see Jen in person and to watch her perform onstage.

Kapuso FHM

Along with Jen in the Top 10 were fellow Kapuso stars Andrea Torres (2nd), Sam Pinto (4th), Solenn Heussaff (5th) and Max Collins (9th). Rumors have abound about how the four ganged up on Jennylyn and boycotted her victory. Jen, however, was too busy for her big night to take notice or think anything of it.

“Mas naka-focus ako sa sarili ko. Kung hindi man sila nakarating, siguro naman may dahilan. Kung anuman iyon, hindi ko alam…Ang importante ay nandito ako at napasaya ko ang mga umaasahang rarampa ako [I was more focused on myself. I may not know what, but they have their reasons for not coming. What’s important is I am here and that I gave what the fans wanted.]”

Nervous as she was, Jennylyn admitted to preparing studiously for the event despite her busy schedule. “I owe this to my supporters,” she said,  “yung mga fans na walang sawang nagpakita ng suporta sa atin sa simula pa lang ng showbiz career ko [I owe this to my supporters, my fans with their never-ending support from the very beginning of my showbiz career].”

Other women in the list were Alice Dixson, Ellen Adarna, Aubrey Miles, Valeen Montenegro, Meg Imperial, Daiana Menezes, Maria Ozawa, Arny Ross, Sanya Smith, Rachel Anne Daquis, Chloe Dauden, and Phoemela Baranda.
