Comedy-concert Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas will be leading the new show titled “Sunday Pinas Saya,” together with Jose Manalo & Wally Bayola, Joey Paras, Alden Richards, Julie Anne San Jose and Marian Rivera- Dantes. “Sunday Pinas Saya” is now GMA Network’s bet to rival the unbeatable “ASAP” for 20 years.
Talking about “Sunday Pinas Saya,” Ai-Ai is very proud to be part of this new show under TAPE Inc., the producer behind “Eat Bulaga” and “The Ryzza Mae Show.” Ai-Ai exclaimed, “Sure na sure ako, neng, na magandang-maganda ang show. Comedy based siya, so, expect the unexpected. Riot tiyak ito.”
Ai-Ais’ new show will definitely go against “ASAP 20” but she shrugged off comparison with longest-running musical-variety show. She told Abante-Tonite, “May ganun talaga, neng? Hahahaha! Iba sila, iba kami. At ang tunay na mananalo rito ay ang mga televiewers.”
She added, “Inuulit ko, sure ako na magandang-maganda ito at maaliw talaga sila.”
