ABS-CBN held a burger party for production staff due to the high ratings of TV shows in general last Tuesday, June 30, ABANTE reported.
The said burger party is part of celebrating another achievement for the giant network, granting commensurate rewards for its hardworking employees for their good performance.
The Kapamilya network still dominates most watched programs during weekends, followed by ratings in weekday primetime. Recently, they have regained high viewership on daytime weekdays.
Kantar Media data on June 22-28 show significant increase of ABS-CBN ratings in almost all timeslot. “The Voice Kids” remained unbeaten last weekend. Last Saturday, it rated 39.6% against GMA 7’s “Pepito Manaloto Ang Tunay Na Kuwento” (18.4%). Last Sunday, it rated even higher at 42.5% and overtook GMA 7’s “Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho” (19.7%) and TV5’s “Mac And Chiz” (1.3%) and “Wow Mali Lakas Ng Tama!” (1.3%).

Meanwhile, according to trusted ratings provider AGB Nielsen, ABS-CBN’s primetime Pangako Sa’yo garnered 32.7% nationwide rating, crushing GMA-7’s Let the Love Begin (17.8). The religion-themed series Nathaniel that has 33% TV rating continues to be the most watched program in the country.
