It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda shocked the madlang pipol (slang for ‘crowd’) with another revelation about his life – he attempted suicide at the age of 19 due to depression. Jose Marie Viceral in real life, or popularly known in Philippine showbiz as Vice Ganda is known for his life advices and being true to himself. Every madlang pipol looks up to him (at least for those who follow him). To some, he is a good role model, especially to the gay community. From the struggles he had in life to the fame he is having right now, this popular host remains ‘grounded’. That is one trait most of his Filipino followers love about him.
Earlier in ‘It’s Showtime’, while showing-off the trophy he received from Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation as he was awarded as the Phenomenal Box Office Star for four consecutive years. Vice took the opportunity to share the memory that flashed back when he received the award on a Sunday evening.
“I am just so blessed. Bigla akong nagka-flashback.
Vice Ganda is already a household name. And his advices matter and makes sense. Whatever he says, most likely, people might take it to heart.
