Edgar Allan Guzman, Jay R, Melai Cantiveros and Nyoy Volante of the ABS-CBN reality show “Your Face Sounds Familiar” brought their A-game during the contest’s grand showdown at the Resorts World Manila on Pasay City on Saturday, June 6.
Among the four finalists, Melai brought the house down when she donned Miley Cyrus costume and performed “Wrecking Ball” for the last time for the sake of competition. She earned praises from the show’s judges.
Sharon Cunetacommented on her performance, “Huge improvement. I’m so proud of you. You did a very sexy and wonderful job.”
Jed Madela gave Melai the bestest comment with, “You are the one I’m going to miss. You are an amazing performer. You always entertain us.”
Gary Valenciano praised Melai, “With Melai you can predict something, you can predict the unpredictable. I think you had fun and you pick the right artist to impersonate.”

On Sunday’s live show (June 7), Melai’s performance as Miley Cyrus earned her title as the Grand Winner of the very first “Your Face Sounds Familiar.” She won via 51.93% text votes. She will receive P1 million pesos, the other P1 million pesos will go to her chosen charity.
Nyoy Volante came in second with 24.51% of votes. JayR with and Edgar Allan Guzman was placed to third and fourth respectively.
