After being named as the first “You Face Sounds Familiar” grand winner, comedienne and actress Melai Cantiveros will transform into a new character in the upcoming episode of “Maalaala Mo Kaya” this Saturday (June 20).
In the “MMK” episode, Melai will give life to the role of Joanna, a woman who grew up being dependent on her parents and not knowing how to do household chores. Because of this, Joanna had a hard time adjusting to her married life, especially when her husband Allan (Jason Francisco) lost his job and she was forced to leave their children to work as a nanny in Kuwait.

“MMK’s” episode this Saturday will also feature Sharmaine Suarez, Mutya Orquia, Brenna Garcia, Sofia Millares, Althea Guanzon, Jet Alcantara, Ruby Rubi, and Chiqui del Carmen. It is under the direction of Mae Cruz-Alviar and written by Joan Habana. “MMK” is led by business unit head Malou Santos.
