If Sam Milby is rumored of planning to transfer to GMA Network, Kapuso teen heartthrob Derrick Monasterio is also rumored to transfer to ABS-CBN. If that’s the case and if plans will really push through, a fresher hunk will transfer to ABS-CBN and a hunk actor will go to GMA Network.
We saw some statuses online close to him that Derrick isn’t satisfied with the projects he is getting from his mother network after getting kicked-out from “The Half Sisters.” His character died last year on the show which is still going strong until now. This might be reason why he might be thinking of signing with the ABS-CBN.
This year, we have seen Derrick in “Karelasyon” and “Magpakailanman” only. On the upcoming shows of the network, his name is nowhere to find. So maybe, he’s just thinking of a network who will really care for his career and will maximize his talent.
Aside form having good looks, this Derrick Monasterio should be classified to A-List of Teen Stars today. He can sing, he can act, at least better than Andrei Paras, Jhake Vargas and Ruru Madrid. Just saying!
