Almost 90% of the population in the Philippines are using mobile phones as a means of communication And for the newest technology, there are lots of media to use to transmit messages. There are text messaging, voice call, messenger applications and the most favorite is, video calling. All of it allows us to say anything we want to say to our loved ones in different locations. With these tools, we can simply say that everyone is just within our reach.
It is a good thing that Smart Communications, Inc developed an application in partnership with video messaging service SKYPE, to provide its subscribers the coolest new way to communicate with their friends on their mobile phones. They call it SKYPE QIK app for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone. This app will allow users to quickly capture memorable moments on video as they happen, and immediately share them with friends through one-touch recording and instant sharing.

All you have to do is download the SKYPE QIK from the Apple App Store or the Google Play at no cost. You must have a mobile data plan, or WiFi connection though, and at least P1 balances on your account to enjoy the service. Don’t get confuse this to Skype though. You have to create a separate account for this. You may log in using your phone number and only communicate with the contacts in your phone. So better yet, tell your friends to download the app too to join the fun. Besides, it is exclusively offered to Smart, Sun, and Talk ‘N Text subscribers from April 22 to June 30, 2015.
