The undisputable network is now set to bring only the greatest, and most entertaining shows to their loyal viewers. ABS-CBN as the leading television network in the country officially launches the shows to watch for. They held Kapamilya Trade Launch yesterday where they formally announced the shows, the stars and for some, its playdate.
Here are the much-awaited soaps we are waiting for:
1. PANGAKO SA’YO (May 25, 2015)
A remake. Originally starred Kristine Hermosa and Jericho Rosales. It was first aired in 2000 and popularly gave birth to iconic roles of claudia Buenavista and Amor Powers. This time, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel will play Yna and Angelo together with Jodi Sta. Maria, Angelica Panganiban, and Ian Veneracion. Produced by Star Creatives under the direction of Rory Quintos, Dado Lumibao and Olive Lamasan.
2. PASION DE AMOR (June 1, 2015)
Another adaptation of the Columbian Telenovela “Pasion da Gavilanes.” The story will evolve around a family rivalry which will be mixed with revenge and love. Starring Jake Cuenca, Ejay Falcon, Joseph Marco, Ellen Adarna, Coleen Garcia and Arci Munoz under the direction of Eric Quizon.
3. ON THE WINGS OF LOVE (Soon)
Under the production of Dreamscape, James Reid and Nadine Lustre will play the roles of clark and Lea, who are Filipino workers based in San Francisco, California, forced to get married to continue their stay in the country. Joining them are Arjo Atayde, Bianca Manalo, Cherry Pie Picache and Joel Torre. Directed by Avel sunpongco and Don Cuaresma.
4. SOMEONE TO WATCH OVER ME (Soon)
Starring Judy Ann Santos, Richard Yap and Diether Ocampo. Another under the production of Dreamscape and directed by Onat Diaz and Trina Dayrit. It is said to be mixed with action, romance and comedy.
5. AND I LOVE YOU SO (Soon)
To be directed by Don Cuaresma, it is a drama about family, friendship, love and betrayal. Starring Julia Barretto, Miles Ocampo, Inigo Pascual, Dante Rivero, Angel Aquino, Dimples Romana, Bing Loyzaga, Raymond Bagatsing, Luke Jickain, and Jay Manalo.
6. FPJ’S ANG PROBINSYANO (Soon)
To commemorate the late king Fernando Poe Jr., this is an action-filled series under the production of Dreamscape and co-produced by FPJ Production. Coco Martin will play as provincial cop. Joining him are Bela Padilla, Angeline Quinto, Jaime Fabregas, Albert Martinez and Arjo Atayde.
7. WANSAPANATYM PRESENTS: MY KUNG FU CHINITO (Soon)
A mini series starring Richard Yap, Enchong Dee, and Sofia Andres. it is a story of a man who wants to pass on his power to somebody for the greater good.
