“You’re My Boss” ruled the local box office as its earnings have reached ₱25 million on its opening day mahigit on Black Saturday on over 170 theaters nationwide. The figure was announced by Kris Aquino on “The Buzz” on Sunday, where Gonzaga is also one of the show’s co-hosts.

The first Coco Martin and Toni Gonzaga starrer looks to be in the running to become the highest-grossing movie opening for this year, hopefully for his year’s Guillermo Mendoza Box Office Awards.
Directed by Antoinette Jadaone, who is best known for the blockbuster hit “That Thing Called Tadhana” and “Beauty in a Bottle,” “You’re My Boss,” which was produced by Star Cinema, follows the love story of a conceited boss and her assistant who end up switching roles.
