A trivia worth sharing for…
Where did the brand’s name came from? I asked, to which Taco’s PR people gladly shared in brief. I found out: It was named after Glen Bell, then 23 year old ex- Marine Corps. way back 1946. Reportedly, World War II was put into halt and when ceasefire commences, business and economy blooms. It’s not too long that fast-food industry flourish with the changes. Glen Bell first considered a miniature golf course, but still struggling with financial challenges, he had to start with a hot dog stand – the Bell ‘s Drive-In. Then on, he learned the rightful strategy of the business as time passes. From a one-man show, his succeeding units are bigger enough for one guy to operate, and the rest is history….
