It can now be told! Ai-Ai delas Alas is now officially a Kapuso starting today, April 16, for she has signed an exclusive two-year contract with GMA Network.
During the signing, Delas Alas was moved to tears by the welcome, saying, “I have returned… Ngayon po babalik na po ako sa totoo kong bahay.”
Present during the contract signing were GMA Network chair and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, COO Gilberto Duavit, and other GMA executives.
Her son, Sancho, earlier inked an exclusive contract with GMA Artist Center last December.
Ai-Ai was with ABS-CBN for 16 years but before she became a Kapamilya, she was a Kapuso. Her contract with ABS-CBN expired this March.
