One Direction’s publicist Simon Jones released an official statement through Twitter on Thursday that Zayn Malik will not be part of the Philippines and Indonesia performances.
Here’s what he said, “Zayn has been signed off with stress and is flying back to the UK to recuperate. The band wish him well and will continue with their performances in Manila and Jakarta.”
The English-Pakistani singer was due to film a commercial in Hongkong when he decided to go back to London instead. People say that Zayn might have been stressed out from numerous news about him and his allegedly cheating with girlfriend Pierre Edwards with a fan names Lauren while in Thailand. A photo of him with the mystery girl holding hands while outside the club surfaced the social network and gathered comments around the world.
“He did nothing wrong but the amount of criticism he received was simply too much. He needs to get away,” one source said. Last night Zayn posted on his Twitter account (@zaynmalik1D), “I’m 22 years old… I love a girl named Perrie Edwards. And there’s a lot of jealous fucks in this world I’m sorry for what it looks like x”
This might be a bad news for Filipino fans who is hoping to have a glimpse of this most handsome guy in the world. No luck for now. Meanwhile, the show must go on to the rest of the members of the boy band.
