After almost two months, father Dennis Padilla and daughter Julia Barretto finally calls for a ceasefire on what they have gone through when the “snubbing” issue occurred in media world last December 2014. As per witnesses, Dennis burst into tears upon seeing Julia inside the studio in ABS-CBN while he is taping for a game show. He never expected that Julia made the first move to have a reconciliation with him, after multiple attempts to get things better between the two of them in the past. There comes a point that Dennis gave up. As what a normal father wants for his kids, Dennis just wishes Julia happiness.
The reconciliation was truly a blessing to Dennis, especially that his daughter will mark her 18th birthday on March 10, one of the girls’ very special day.
Just a recap, the disagreement occurred when actress Julia Barretto apparent “snubbed” his father at a Christmas Party last December. There was a petition as well, about changing his last name, that netizen said might had been triggered the situation since comedian Dennis Padilla did not approve it.
But Julia surprised the world by posting her photo with her dad in her Instagram account on February 25. The caption said “Papa being his comedian self.” And Julia earned a lot of positive comments on this unexpected truce.
It was indeed the greatest move for Julia Barretto to finally brittle the gap between them. At least the teen star will surely have a joyful and peaceful debut party this March 10.
