After shutting down reports that she is running for president, Camarines Sur Representative Leni Robredo takes the spotlight in ‘The Bottomline’ this Saturday (March 14) to discuss her advocacies for good governance and supporting for anti-political dynasty bill.
Robredo, the widow of the late Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo, believes that political dynasty is a ground for unequal opportunities in electoral system. Robredo will also highlight ‘Tsinelas leadership’ as a good governance campaign inspired by her husband and her strong stand on the Freeedon of Information bill.
She will also state how she faced accusations of foreign-funded sources and vote-buying allegations.
Does she really see herself as an extension of her late husband? As a wife, how did she manage expectations from her political colleagues? What is the reason behind her refusal to run for senate?
