Xian Lim is again in hot water after his apparent ‘rude’ behavior during his recent visit in Albay for Fiesta Tsinoy Albay.
Albay Governor Joey Salceda posted a status on Facebook on Chinese New Year (February 19). He Facebook status says, “‘Xian Lim says in my face (Atty Carol) while handing the coffee table book in front of many – ‘I’m not here to promote albay’.’ If his road manager checks his record, Albay paid for his many guestings since way back 2011 when his talent fee was just P75.000 (Ginoo ni Magayon) and now P350,000 for Fiesta Tsinoy Albay. Its either 1. His parents did not raise him well. 2. He had bad education. 3. He is not managed well. 4. His character is inversely proportional to his looks. 5. He is on something.”
Gov. Salceda also adds on the comments section, “We give all guests a copy of WARM ALBAY coffee table- almost 10,000 copies yan. Lahat nagThank You. Only him felt we are fooling him into “promote Albay”. So the PROVINCE paid him P350000 for FIESTA TSINOY in Sorsogon. Common sense.”
This earned the ire of the netizens especially the Albayanons.
Jane Tacorda Declare commented, “the bastard a persona non grata.”
Agreeing to Tacorda’s comment, Atet Lee said, “oo gov. please declare him as a persona non grata!!! he’s not that handsome anyway…. he can’t even pronounce the letter “S””
Star Magic has yet to comment on the issue.
This is not the first time had a problem on a Chinese New Year. Last year, Xian earned the ire of netizens when he poked fun at a Kim Chiu look-alike, Charmae Viking, who appeared during the actor’s production number in “Banana Nite.”
