A Red-letter day to mark
Hearts day will be a busy one for lovers and likewise, for 22 year-old KZ Tandingan. The X-factor contestant turned grand victor from Davao has gone a long way and making waves as time passes. From top music awards & recognitions, recording album that sells like a hotcake, concerts here and abroad & myriad of followers she continued to mesmerize with such extra-ordinary voice she possessed.
..And come this Valentines day, she is set to star in the Grand Ballroom of Crown Plaza Manila in Galleria for a show, a first in her own.

A back to back concert on the same day with her then X-Factor guru, the Concert King Martin Nieverra, “is not an easy task to begin and finish with” she admits in candid. But KZ’s different approach to singing and own vocal prowess is equally captivating, suffice to say winning. She’s a true-blue performer and real champion to watch, worthy of superlatives, time & yes, ticket worth. The same global talent & energy on stage that sent her feet to far-flung corners of the world she never imagine to see in her lifetime alongside the rare privilege to perform with the country’s best & brightest. That’s KZ for you.
A girl like no other
Noted during her hearty interview, she was just an ordinary girl with then a simple dream – To sing and share her gifts and love for music. Beneath the roaring certitude she exudes when hitting high notes on stage, there is this soft, shy, humble person who jerk tears easily, especially when asked about her family back in Digos which she misses sorely (her little bro, in particular) that she had to leave for a challenging career-path here in Manila.

KZ admitted to currently dating someone whom she shared fascination in music. Is the mystery guy sweet enough to unmask himself and hand-in red roses to KZ while singing on stage? That must be exciting, Let’s Go Figure! 🙂
