Julius Babao helps people with seemingly unachievable dreams in “Mission Possible”

Broadcast journalist Julius Babao helps people with seemingly unachievable dreams in his new public service program every Monday afternoon in “Mission Possible,” which is part of ABS-CBN’s new weekday current affairs block.

As the program’s title states, the mission is never impossible if one is willing to work for it. The effort would come from the case studies’ end with the show being the anchor to help them attain their goals.

On Monday (Feb 16), “Mission Possible” tries to help ex-convict Luis Crisostomo start his life anew. Companies have been rejecting the 52-year-old not for his age but because of his past as a convicted felon.

Luis finished college but ended up being a construction worker. He spent over 15 years in jail for qualified theft and estafa for failing to return his employer’s wallet and spent the cash amounting to P5,000, while his friend allegedly used the credit card.

Although he faces social stigma, he is determined to prove himself and provide for his family. Will Luis and Julius succeed in their mission?

Also part of ABS-CBN’s new weekday current affairs block are Karen Davila, Atty. Claire Castro, and K Brosas in “3-in-1” (Tuesdays), Atom Araullo in “RealiTV” (Wednesdays), Dyan Castillejo in “Sports U” (thursdays), and Anthony Taberna in “Tapatan ni Tunying” (Fridays).

Find out this Monday (Feb 16) in “Mission Possible” on ABS-CBN at 4:30 PM. For updates, visit its Facebook page (http://facebook.com/missionpossible.abscbn) and Twitter (@mission_abscbn).
