The eight remaining artists of “The Voice of the Philippines” are fighting tooth and nail this weekend (Feb 21 and 22) in a bid to represent their teams in the highly anticipated grand finals of the top-rating and Twitter-trending singing competition next week.
The competition will surely be tough because all of the remaining eight artists have topped previous public polls. The four coaches, for weeks, have also had a tough time choosing which artists to send home, as proven by coach Sarah being moved to tears before announcing her decision in last week’s Live Shows. Will she become emotional again when she weighs in on her last two artists’ performances?
In order to determine the top-scoring artist from each team, the show will combine the percentages of the public votes on Saturday’s and Sunday’s Live Shows, as well as the coaches’ scores for each artist.
Get ready for a smashing vocal showdown between ‘singing tindera’ Alisah Bonaobra and RnB heartthrob Daryl Ong of Team Apl; ‘haranista’ Jason Dy and versatile diva Monique Lualhati of Team Sarah; farmer-singer Rence Rapanot and band vocalist Rita Martinez; belter Leah Patricio and loving grandson Timmy Pavino of Team Lea.
Whose voices and performances will capture the hearts of the viewers and the coaches? Who will have a chance at grabbing the title “The Voice of the Philippines”?
Don’t miss the Live Shows in “The Voice of the Philippines” Season 2 this Saturday (Feb 21), 8:45PM and Sunday (Feb 22), 8:30 PM on ABS-CBN.
