Just like the first part, GMA Network’s coverage of The ‘Royal’ Wedding of Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera failed to score higher than it’s counterpart, “The Voice of the Philippines Season 2.″
The ‘Royal’ Wedding scored a disappointing of 15+% based on ratings we’ve got from Abante-Tonite (which only got 5.3% [Mega Manila], 18% [Metro Manila] and 11.6% [Sub-urbs] on its first part). The ‘Royal’ Wedding’s counterpart on ABS-CBN, “MMK” and ‘The Voice of the Philippines Season 2″ received 24+% and 19+% respectively.
It looks like the highly publicized ‘royal wedding’ of 2014 lasted for only a week in hype, hindi man lang umabot sa super delayed airing. Anyways, it was was officiated by eight bishops and seven priests, attended by president Noynoy Aquino and other VIP personalities. This elaborate ceremony was definitely beyond words to say but sadly, it rated poorly.
