With a stroke of a brush, Patrick Rosas can transform any woman to whatever look she desires. In celebration of his genius and artistry, the makeup artist to the stars Patrick Rosas launched a coffee table book called ‘Rituals’ in partnership with ABS-CBN Publishing Inc.
Patrick is one of the best in his field: ABS-CBN Publishing has been working with him for a long time and he always delivers compelling, unparalleled work. It’s our pleasure to be part of this project and we are excited to share with everyone the masterpiece that is ‘Rituals’,” says ABS-CBN Publishing Inc’s Managing Director, Mark Yambot.
‘Rituals’ showcases the sheer brilliance of Rosas featuring the crème dela crème of the Philippine entertainment and fashion industries and the who’s who of Philippine society shot by top photographers Mark Nicdao, Jo Ann Bitagcol, Patrick Uy, Filbert Kung, and Glenn Gordon, with photography legend Neal Oshima pitching in when it comes to creative direction.
For his third book, Patrick collaborated with influential and powerful people from the world of entertainment and media: Gretchen Barretto, Iza Calzado, Korina Sanchez, John Lloyd Cruz, and Richard Gomez; fashion: Michael Cinco, Lulu Tan-Gan, Rissa Mananquil-Trillo, Vanessa Matsunaga, Rajo Laurel, and Jo Ann Bitagcol; and society, Tessa Prieto-Valdes, Dr. Z and Dra. Aivee Teo, Bea Valdes, Imelda Cojuangco, and Margarita Fores.
During the exclusive launch of ‘Rituals’ at White Space, Makati, guests were enthralled by the eye-catching photographs from ‘Rituals’ that hung from the ceiling. It was truly a sumptuous visual feast as guests moved around the venue admiring each photograph. The event was hosted by Tim Yap and among those who were spotted at the event were Gretchen Barretto, Marjorie Barretto, Rajo Laurel, Tessa Prieto-Valdes, Iza Calzado, and Atty. Karen Jimeno.
“Rituals is a celebration of beauty and art. It’s part of my personal journey,” Rosas expressed during the formal contract signing with ABS-CBN Publishing Inc. The “Rituals” collector’s edition will be available at National Bookstore and Fully Booked branches starting December 10.
