AJ Opeña juggled work and school before she finished college and eventually got a job at a company. A risk-taker, AJ was determined not to remain an employee for the rest of her life and convinced her husband that they start a business.
Now, AJ is the proud owner of the five-year-old “Nails.Glow” that already has 34 branches. AJ believes that beauty should be accessible to everyone, so she made sure all of her salon’s services were affordable, such as foot and hand care, nail art, massage, and facial spa.
Learn more about her success story this Wednesday (Dec 3) on “My Puhunan,” where broadcast journalist Karen Davila shares what AJ went through life as a kid and how she was able to make her way to the top.
Doris Bigornia, meanwhile, kicks in the holiday festivities as she celebrates the Christmas season tomorrow (Dec 2) on “Mutya ng Masa,” where she explores the night market in Divisoria to go Christmas shopping and travels to Tarlac for “Belenism,” an annual Belen-making contest.
