The day has come for Joross Gamboa to wed his long-time girlfriend Kathy Kimberly Saga. A day after his 30th birthday, November 29, the couple exchanged their vows in a Christian ceremony at The Colonial Ballroom, Fernbrook Gardens, Alabang Muntinlupa City.
Love is really in the air that special day because the event was witnessed by people who love them most. According to guests, the wedding is “inspiring and fun”. They conquered heavy traffic just to make sure to be there at the event for the lovely couple, since most of the invited guests were from the North, it took them almost 4 hours to arrive at the wedding location.
Joross’s batch mates from Star Circle Quest were all there for him. Present at the event were Raphael Martinez, Melissa Ricks, Joseph Bitangcol with their respective partners. Even Korean Pop Star Sandara Park and Box-office King John Lloyd Cruz fulfilled their promise to be there.
The groom was very emotional at the time when the bride walked the aisle. But being comedienne as he is, Joross made the event light and amusing. At their wedding vows, personally made by the couple, Joross thanked Katz for not giving him up in spite of the reasons for her to leave. He said, ““I want to thank you for the patience beyond understanding. You had me at my worst. And you stayed even if you have all the reason to leave…. You are the most beautiful, smartest and funniest woman I know…. With God as my witness, I promise you that I will be faithful to you and you will be the only woman in my life,”
As for the bride, she vowed, ““Joross, when we first met, it was not love at first sight. You very well know that after our first movie date, I didn’t want to go out with you anymore. I didn’t expect that we would end up with each other because we are not exactly a match made in heaven.”
