After “Rhodora X,” Jennylyn Mercado would be seen next in the new GMA Network soap opera titled “Second Chances” for airing supposedly before the year ends.
According to a report from PSN, the airing of GMA Network’s newest drama offering titled “Second Chances” will be moved to the 1st quarter next year because it’s big-budget. The report also says, “Na-impress daw ang mga executive sa mga unang episode na nagawa nila, kaya napagdesisyunan ng management na gawing opening salvo sa 2015 ang naturang serye ng GMA Telebabad.”
[box]SYNOPSIS: Second Chances is an emotion-charged drama about everyone deserving a second chance not only to change the mistakes he has done but also to dream, and hope for a better future. Jennylyn plays Lyra who loses her husband and son in a tragic incident. Raymart plays Bernard, a widower and single father grieving over the loss of his wife while longing for a complete family with Lyra. Camille plays Rebecca, Lyra’s childhood friend who resorts to taking drugs as she desperately copes with the loss of her son. Rafael plays Jerome who has always loved Lyra long before she married her late husband.[/box]
This will be the second team-up of Jennylyn Mecado and Raymart Santiago, from “Futbolilits” in 2011. Directed by Laurice Guillen, also in the cast of “Second Chances” are Rafael Rosell, Luis Alandy, Frencheska Farr and Camille Prats.
