Broadcast journalist Karen Davila tells the story of how Juancho Fondevilla, the owner of “Sensitivity,” endured his tragic family troubles to become the owner of one of the biggest lights and sounds company in the country this Wednesday (Nov 26) in “My Puhunan.”
Juancho, whose company provides services for big parties and events every day, is a millionaire. But before becoming successful, he went through the toughest time of his life after his parents separated when he was only seven years old.
At an early age, he already stood as a parent to his other siblings after their mother abandoned them and their father fell into alcoholism and depression. To earn money, he worked as a delivery boy, janitor, and waiter in a hotel. By trying out several jobs, he developed his talent for DJing.
Back then, he didn’t have enough money to have his own mixers and speaker made, so he produced them himself with the help of a carpenter named Dick Cinco. In “My Puhunan,” Juancho gives back to Dick who once helped him while he was just starting out.
Tomorrow (Nov 25) in “Mutya ng Masa,” anchor Doris Bigornia shares the story of Rodolfo Ronquillo or “Lolo Ruding” who sells ballpens at different malls and markets in Pampanga.
At 83, Lolo Ruding is still cheerful and strong, but lives with one regret – not being able to have a family of how own. He especially feels lonely during Christmas season, and so his only wish is to be with his cousins and relatives this Christmas. Will he get his long-time wish?
