ABS-CBN’s hit legal drama anthology “Ipaglaban Mo” tackles parricide this Saturday (Sept 27) with the story of a father who killed his own son.
Frustrated about how his life had become, Andres (Victor Neri) slipped into alcoholism, which became the frequent cause of arguments at his home. However, his wife Charie (Mickey Ferriols) had remained patient with Andres because she loved him very much.
Until one night, Andres came home drunk, sparking another dispute between the couple. Their son Carlo (Sam Concepcion) mediated between them, but Andres was displeased with his son’s act so he pulled out a gun and shot him in front of Charie and their younger son Angelo (Marco Gumabao).
Andres surrendered to authorities, but he lied and claimed that it was just an accident. Did eye witnesses Charie and Angelo tell the truth during the trial, knowing that Andres would get a heavier sentence if they did?
