A rumor is now circulating online that Aljur Abrenica was offered by ABS-CBN to portray “Captain Barbell,” though there was no official statement yet from the network or any of the executives, the reason why some netizens especially Kapuso fans to think that this is the real reason why he really wants to end his contract with GMA Network.
In an interview by PSR website, Aljur denied that there are offers from ABS-CBN for him to portray the iconic superhero “Captain Barbell” role:
Totoo ba na may kumakausap sa kanya na executive ng ABS-CBN 2 kaya malakas ang loob niya na magsampa ng kaso dahil gagawin niya ang “Captain Barbell” sa naturang network?
“Sa ngayon po wala po akong nakakausap sa kanila. Wala rin pong offer na ganyang project. Hindi po sa akin ino-offer ‘yun,” paglilinaw niya.
So for those over reacting about this issue, he already denied these issues and clarified ever since he filed the case to court. Okay?
