Despite the heavy rains and strong howling winds leaving Metro Manila in shamble and without power, newly opened “She’s Dating the Gangster” from Star Cinema starring Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo made it to the box office!
According to their their official Facebook account, “She’s Dating the Gangster” raked 15M on its first showing day on theaters nationwide!
“She’s Dating The Gangster” is a big screen adaptation of Bianca Bernardino’s best-selling Filipino novel of the same title that sold over 70,000 copies nationwide. Topbilled by Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, “She’s Dating The Gangster” is directed by blockbuster director Cathy Garcia-Molina and it is written for the silver screen by Carmi Raymundo, who wrote two of Star Cinema’s most successful films this 2014: “Bride For Rent” and “Starting Over Again.”
